The reviews are in on Neutrogena acne products and the general consensus is that they work! This is great news because Neutrogena is an over-the-counter line of acne products that can be picked up at your local drug store. Neutrogena has been making acne removal products for many years and it seems that the company continues to perfect its products.
Neutrogena acne products come in many forms from face washes to creams and gels to facial peels. They even have some electronic face washing device that looks very interesting, although I haven’t been willing to spend the money on this one yet.
Compared to other over-the-counter products, Neutrogena isn’t cheap, but you’ve heard the old saying, “You get what you pay for.” This saying seems to be true in the case of acne products. There are more expensive products, of course, but if a moderately expensive blemish cream works for you then why would you want to buy one that costs more?
The good reviews are stating that Neutrogena acne products work great, especially for large, existing pimples, but not as well on the tiny pimples. Some people also stated that the Neutrogena products they’ve used don’t work as well in preventing pimples as some other products, but they use Neutrogena to target the large pimples because these are the ones that are most embarrassing and can become quite painful.
One reviewer stated that she spread a Neutrogena cream on her forehead and by morning she noticed a significant decrease in the size and quantity of her pimples. Her review mentioned the cost of Neutrogena acne products, but she said that the higher price is well worth it, and that it lasts longer than some products because she needs to use less of it at a time, and for shorter amount of time because it works faster.
One of the not-so-good reviews stated that when she used a Neutrogena product for her rosacea it had no effect whatsoever. She thought that it smelled bad and that she had wasted her money. I don’t personally know this reviewer, but if I did I would advise her to contact Neutrogena tell them of her experience. Not only are they likely to give her some tips on how to deal with her rosacea, but they may have other products that might work better for her. Many companies will refund your money for a product that doesn’t work, or at least send you coupons for free or reduced priced replacements.
Another bad review said that the spot treatment worked wonderfully to get rid of a couple of large pimples she had, but in the place where the pimples used to be there were large spots left on her face, as if the skin had died. She stated that these spots took months to go away on their own. I think I might have looked into laser therapy at this point to get rid of the spots and the remainder of my blemishes.
There are always going to be people who have a bad experience with a product, but overall the reviews for Neutrogena acne products have been amazingly positive. |
